Introduction

Welcome to AnimateImg, an AI image animator that turns still photos into short cinematic videos. AnimateImg aggregates multiple state-of-the-art video generation models — including Animate, Kling 3.0, Google VEO 3.1, Seedance 2.0, and Motion Control — behind a single workspace. Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you use AnimateImg, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have over your data.

This policy applies to the website www.animateimg.org and all related AnimateImg services (collectively, the "Service").

Information We Collect

To deliver the Service we collect the following categories of data:

1. Account Information

   • What we collect: Your name, email address, password (hashed), and OAuth identifiers when you sign in with Google or GitHub.
   • Purpose: To create and manage your account, authenticate you, send transactional emails, and provide customer support.

2. Uploaded Images and Reference Material

   • What we collect: Photos, reference images, and any other files you upload for the purpose of animating into video.
   • Purpose: To run the animation job you requested. Uploaded files are routed to the upstream AI model you select (Animate, Kling 3.0, VEO 3.1, Seedance 2.0, Motion Control) so that a video can be generated. We do not use your uploaded reference images to train our own models, and we do not sell them to third parties.

3. Generated Content and Prompts

   • What we collect: Prompts you write, generation parameters you choose, and the videos produced by the Service.
   • Purpose: To deliver the result back to you, maintain your generation history under "Activity", and — only if you opt in via the Private toggle being off — feature selected outputs in public galleries or showcases. With the Private toggle on, generated content stays in your account only.

4. Usage and Diagnostic Data

   • What we collect: Pages visited, models used, generation success/failure events, error logs, approximate region, and aggregated frequency of use.
   • Purpose: To monitor service health, debug issues, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We rely on aggregated, non-identifying signals wherever possible.

5. Device and Browser Information

   • What we collect: Device type, operating system, browser, language preference, and IP address.
   • Purpose: To render the Service correctly across devices, enforce rate limits, and detect fraudulent activity.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

   • What we collect: Session cookies, authentication tokens, theme/locale preferences, and basic analytics identifiers.
   • Purpose: To keep you signed in, remember your UI preferences, and measure how the Service is used. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so will sign you out.

7. Payment and Billing Information

   • What we collect: When you purchase credits or a subscription, our payment processor (e.g. Stripe / Creem) collects your billing details and payment method. AnimateImg itself only receives a transaction reference, the amount charged, and the plan you purchased — we never see or store your full card number.
   • Purpose: To process payments, issue invoices, and prevent fraudulent charges.

How We Use Third-Party AI Model Providers

AnimateImg does not train its own foundation video models. To generate videos, your prompts and reference images are forwarded to the AI model provider you choose, which may include — but is not limited to — Kie, Fal, Replicate, Kuaishou (Kling), Google (VEO), and ByteDance (Seedance). Each provider operates under its own terms and privacy practices. By submitting a generation request, you authorize us to transmit the necessary inputs (prompt, parameters, uploaded image) to the selected provider so the job can be completed.

We do not transmit your account credentials, payment information, or browsing history to these providers.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS) and encryption at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by strong authentication. We retain uploaded reference images and generated videos for as long as your account is active, or until you delete them from your Activity history.

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we apply industry-standard safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• With AI model providers, strictly to fulfill the generation request you submitted (see above).
• With infrastructure and payment processors (hosting, storage, email, analytics, billing) acting on our behalf under written confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• To comply with law, valid legal process, or lawful requests from public authorities.
• To protect AnimateImg, our users, or the public from fraud, abuse, or harm.
• In a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case we will notify you and any successor will be bound by this policy.

Your Choices and Rights

• Access, export, or delete your data: You can review and delete your generation history under Activity, and request full account deletion by emailing us at the address below.
• Private mode: Toggle "Private" before generating to keep that output out of any public gallery.
• Marketing emails: Transactional emails (sign-up, billing, security) cannot be disabled. Marketing emails, if any, will always include an unsubscribe link.
• Regional rights: If you are in the EEA, the UK, California, or another jurisdiction with comprehensive privacy laws, you may have additional rights (access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection). Contact us to exercise them.

Children's Privacy

AnimateImg is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

International Users

AnimateImg is operated from servers that may be located outside your country of residence. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in those locations, subject to the safeguards described in this policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Effective date" above. Material changes will be highlighted in-product or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
